This week, we are joined again by the wonderful Lydia Neeley to discuss the world of Kentucky Moonshine, and her recently discovered connection to it!
Cocktails Discussed:
Fusaichi Pegasus
1 1/2 oz. Glendalough Poitin
3/4 oz. St. Agrestis Paradiso Apertivo
1/2 oz. Tempus Fugit Cremé de Menthe
Combine the ingredients in a julip cup or rocks glass, and fill halfway with pebble ice. Stir until well chilled, then top with more ice to form a dome over the rim. Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint, and serve with a sustainable straw.
Between the Lakes:
1 oz. Broken Barrel Straight Kentucky Bourbon
3/4 oz. St. George Rye Reposado Gin
1 oz. Croft Reserve Tawny Porto
1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice, and shake until well chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe glass, garnish with an expressed lemon twist, and serve.
