Sloe Boat to London - Nightcap

In our second nightcap, we continue the conversation about sloe gin, and whatever other tangents happen to come to mind.

Wishful Thinking

2 oz. Sipsmith Sloe Gin

1 oz. Clemént Rhum Agricole

1 oz. lime juice

1 oz. ginger simple syrup

3 dashes Angostura bitters

3 dashes absinthe

Combine all ingredients in shaker with cracked ice. Shake until chilled, and pour into a decorative mug or highball glass. Fill the glass to the top with fresh ice, and, if desired, top with an additional barspoon of sloe gin. Garnish with fresh mint, and serve.
