The Rich Character of a Characterless Spirit (Part 1) - with Sam Lucero

We look at how a clear, tasteless, odorless spirit became integral to the national myth of two different countries, why it spread so far so quickly, and how it might actually have a lot more nuance than people traditionally give it credit for! Cocktail Discussed:

1 ½ oz. Belvedere Vodka

¾ oz. Nalewka Lwowecka Cherry Liqueur

¼ oz. Riga Black Balsam

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice, and stir until well chilled. Strain into a chilled coupe glass, and garnish with a maraschino cherry.
